Thanksgiving for Neville Peter's music

Dear Rob (and hopefully Neville),

  I just felt impressed to try to contact Neville and his entire team and tell you all what an amazing blessing his music is.

  I'm writing from Rwanda, central Africa. The story of how i first heard Neville's music, and how I eventually got his 2 amazing CDs (just arrived 2 days ago and that’s all I’m listening to!) - is one that spans a couple of years, and more than a couple countries to boot!!

  I first saw/heard Neville on 3ABN a couple of years ago when I was visiting my parents in Tunisia-just briefly...he was playing the piano, and we were all struck by the power in his voice. I didn’t hear of him again till a couple of months ago when I was listening to an MP3 sermon about music, culture and Christianity (by Eric Walshe) and the pastor mentioned his name, and gave the website address. I visited the site, read up about him, and listened to the song samples! My entire being (spirit and all!) was moved by the music, and it was heart breaking when the 30 seconds were up and I couldn’t hear the rest

of the song!!! I immediately made plans to buy the CDs - I would have to buy them online, ship them to an aunt in Colorado, and either ask her to post them over, or wait for someone to visit her (from this region) and bring them back. In the end, that’s what happened - after an impatient wait, a couple

of stops, I’ve finally got the CDs!

  And I just had to write - because through his lyrics and beautiful yet simple arrangements - you hear, see and feel a soul that has truly answered Jesus’

call - who seeks Him like one thirsting for water, and who has become His friend. Each song is so uplifting, so soul-inspiring - Neville needs to know that when Jesus comes, He will say to him: "well done, good and faithful servant, you have used your talent to my glory and honor!" What a blessing! I love the spirit of Messages from the Throne of Grace - pointing to the need to embrace Jesus as Saviour and not procrastinate. Showing the beauty of an intimate friendship and trusting reliance on Him. The songs are exquisite. I also really love the Hymns - bringing a whole new soulful feel to our church

tradition - something I think many people out there will relate to and feel ministered to. Beautiful music. I can’t wait for the next project. And I hope that in the near future, Neville will consider taking his performances further out, to Africa, and hopefully will reach the quiet, beautiful country of Rwanda!

  We absolutely love your music. Your music has been a blessing in our lives, our relationship with Jesus has grown just by listening. We are in our late 20’s and early 30”s and not only has “Messages from the throne of Grace” has been a blessing in our lives, but we also love hanging out listening to the hymns. God has truly blessed you with an awesome gift. Thank you for sharing it with us. By the way the song “Sabbath Day” took my husband and I to tears, neither one of us have ever heard such a beautiful song. Please let us know if and when you are coming to Oregon, we’ll be there!!!  Hi Neville, I just wanted to email you and tell you how much I have been blessed in hearing your music for the first time. While I was in Northwestern bookstore (in MN) this weekend, I came across you CD (mistakenly placed in the Gaither music section). I listened to the songs and tears filled my eyes. I’ve been listening to it and am touched every time I hear it. I can’t seem to stop crying though. The hymns remind me of the songs we sang as I was growing up. I miss hearing and singing them. I am so thankful you listened to God’s voice and followed him in writing, singing, and playing from your heart. God is speaking through you in your music. I know many will be blessed by your obedience to him. I’m so thankful you have been obedient to his call.
